Internship Track

Students who opt into the Internship Track after acceptance into the program will take an additional upper-level sport management class and complete a semester or summer internship in their field. 100% of internship track students receive positions, featuring fully immersed work experience at companies like Villareal Football Club, IMG, ESPN, USTA, PGA, Boston Red Sox, Miami Dolphins and more.

Dual Degree/Double Major

One of the advantages of being housed in a top notch business school is the opportunity for students to double major and earn two degrees. Around 80 of 270 upper-class students are dual degree, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration. This unique opportunity gives McCormack students a leg up on the competition and increases their career options.

Facilities Management

Students may enroll in an elective Facilities Management course taught by the Director of the Mullins Center, UMass Amherst’s arena. The course is taught in conjunction with Spectra by Comcast (a global facilities management organization) and offers a first-hand look into the arena management industry and challenges faced by professionals on a day-to-day basis.
