Flexible Career Transition

Flexible Career Transition

Many On-Campus MBA students receive job opportunities while pursuing their degree, and Isenberg fully supports an early career transition. Students can complete the majority of their coursework on campus in one year, and then transition to finish the program online – advancing career and education simultaneously. Ask a program specialist about our "off-ramping" option.

This Isenberg program participates in the UMass Flex initiative, providing students with flexible access to courses offered at UMass Amherst.

Proudly representing UMass Flex—a commitment to our university’s core values, while delivering a flexible educational experience to meet the needs of today’s students.

Our cohort is full of diverse people from many different backgrounds and walk of life. My classmates challenged me to consider new perspectives and develop more creative solutions than I would on my own.

It was a relief to know that the program I'd enrolled in to advance my career wasn't going to stop me from taking a big step forward in my career. Very happy to be able to "off-ramp" and finish my degree online while starting my dream job.

Interning at Ford was a decisive event that helped to create my path. Were it not for my prior Isenberg classmates who had made a positive impression [at Ford] and Isenberg's support, I do not think I would be where I am today.

The affinity and continued engagement of the UMass alumni network is a major game-changer. For proof of this, I got my summer internship because of a direct UMass alumni connection.

Not only did my fellowship help make the cost of getting On-Campus MBA possible for me, but the work experience I gained in the role made me a competitive candidate for internships. The job offer I accepted after graduation is related to my fellowship work.
