Whether you are changing careers or advancing within your current one, Isenberg provides a comprehensive career and professional development program to meet your needs. Starting with our Program Orientation, you’ll learn more about our many resources, our career workshops, and our dedicated career development team. We’ll also introduce you to IConnect, the online career and professional development platform sponsored by Isenberg’s Office of Career Success. IConnect hosts job postings, career events, and a suite of resources and tools in one central location. You can also find contact information for career coaches trained and ready to work with MBA students.
Kick off your MBA experience with our Orientation. You will learn more about the resources available to you across the UMass Amherst campus. LinkedIn Learning, tutoring, library research support, and career and professional development are just some of the resources available to you. Panel presentations featuring Isenberg alumni offer insight into the importance of goal setting and focused career planning.
As an Isenberg MBA student, you will have direct access to a career coach who can help you with everything from a personalized job search to interview prep to general career planning. Our career development team and MBA program staff are available to support you during your professional development journey and connect you with our network of industry partners and alumni.
Isenberg MBA career workshops are innovative and comprehensive. We offer interactive, lunchtime workshops on life design and goal setting, effective interviewing, salary negotiation, and job search strategies. Our workshops and alumni panels are offered virtually, with some in-person events in Boston and Amherst. We make the recordings of all events and workshops available online 24/7.
