Every Organization Uses Analytics

Change your career trajectory by developing data manipulation, visualization, and analytical decision-making skills with the MS in Business Analytics (MSBA). The 10-course, 31-credit MSBA program can be completed at your own pace through our flexible online learning platform.

Flexible and Convenient

The Isenberg’s Online MSBA program offers the flexibility you need to fit your life, while learning from industry-leading expert faculty and receiving the same core curriculum as your on-campus counterparts. As an Online MSBA student, you can work at your own pace, taking as few as three credits (one course) or up to four years to complete your degree. And, domestic students can start by taking a couple classes online in the summer before joining an on-campus cohort in Amherst or Newton in the fall.

MSBA students choose between two tracks—Business Foundations or Data Analytics—depending on career goals and prior business experience. Students can choose to further deepen their knowledge of data analytics by undertaking the optional concentration in Advanced Analytics. The MSBA program makes you a highly sought-after candidate for a career in any industry or organization.

Proudly representing UMass Flex—a commitment to our university’s core values, while delivering a flexible educational experience to meet the needs of today’s students.

4+1 Master's Degrees

4+1 Master's Degrees

Undergraduate students at UMass Amherst and other colleges in the Five College Consortium can pursue a 4+1 option, completing their undergraduate degree and their master's degree in 5 years. Isenberg's Master of Finance, Master of Science in Accounting, and Master of Science in Business Analytics all offer this option.

For UMass Amherst students, the 4+1 option can also be accelerated, allowing students to complete both their undergraduate and master's degrees in fewer than 5 years.

Interested students should apply to a master's degree program in their junior year or early in their senior year.
