UMass Amherst’s Mount Ida Campus in Newton is just 10 miles outside of downtown Boston. The Mt Ida campus provides students with an onsite fitness center, award-winning dining services, and the Chase Career Center. Students can apply for on-campus housing, and free parking and free transportation to the MBTA green line provide easy access to Boston. As many of our students are busy professionals, classes are scheduled in late afternoons and evenings, during the fall and spring.
