The marketing major prepares students for a variety of careers and career paths, including sales, retailing, market research, digital marketing, advertising, product development and others.  Underlying all of these paths, the major provides students with the skills needed to listen to consumers; to use intuition and data to identify, develop, and execute creative solutions to complex problems; and to communicate these solutions to relevant stakeholders.

While all of our courses help students hone these skills, those interested in specific career paths may find the following courses of interest.

Ideal for students interested in big data, those who want to better understand why consumers do things, enjoy research, are interested in forecasting, or are quantitatively-oriented.  This set of courses prepares students how to collect and analyze data and use technology.
