Club Spotlight

Black Business Students’ Association

The Black Business Student's Association’s mission is to provide an empowering environment for students of African heritage who aspire to excel in prestigious careers within various areas of business. Our goal is to foster a competitive environment where students are consistently challenged and encouraged to grow, ensuring they are exceptionally prepared for entry-level roles within their chosen domain of business or for furthering their education.

We aim to achieve this by helping our members to realize earlier on what their goals are, to get them involved throughout their tenure at UMass, facilitating connections with alumni and industry professionals alike, teaching industry-specific skills, and providing opportunities for members to showcase their skills in front of potential employers.

Long term we want to become a bridge for those from historically marginalized communities into wealth and prosperity and encourage members from those same communities to pursue careers in business.

UMass AdLab

From local businesses to global brands, UMass AdLab provides its members with experience working for real-world clients. It is the only student-run advertising agency on campus. With three teams and one incredible reach, over the years AdLab’s work has been found around campus and on the billboards of Time Square— and everywhere in between. If you are interested in joining, please reach out to AdLab at umassadlab@gmail.com and include your resume.

Isenberg Global Citizens (IGC)!

Isenberg Global Citizens is an award program and club that encourages Isenberg students to give back to the communities in which they live and learn. Since its founding in 2014, IGC candidates have contributed more than 20,000 hours of community service, and aim to complete much more! Although candidates work independently to complete the number of service hours required to receive The Global Citizens Award of Outstanding Citizenship, the IGC club hosts group volunteering and fundraising events with its partnered organizations for candidates to attend.

The Global Citizens Council works hard to provide students with the support and resources they need to make a positive difference within their communities, no matter how big or small. Please refer to the Isenberg Global Citizens website to join & learn more! Feel free to contact isenbergglobalcitizens@gmail.com if you have any questions!

Women in Business (WiB)!

Their goal is to connect students to support each other professionally and personally as they navigate through college and prepare for a successful career post-graduation. WiB aims to foster confidence within ourselves and each other as young professionals.
