Study Abroad

Did you know that Italy and Spain are the top two host countries for Isenberg students? It’s no surprise, as both countries offer affordable programming and a variety of business classes in English. But there are SO many other exciting countries to choose from that offer low-cost programs (equal to or less than semester at UMass) AND access to many business courses (in English). Are you interested in getting “off the beaten track” during your study abroad experience? Then consider one of these featured destinations in Argentina, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, South Korea and Uruguay!

Isenberg 4+1 Program

Two Degrees. Five Years or Less.

Undergraduate students can pursue a Isenberg 4+1 program option in one of the following areas: accounting, business analytics, or finance. The 4+1 option can also be accelerated and up to 12 graduate credits (4 courses) from a specialized master’s program can be taken while students complete their undergraduate degree, and depending on the program, up to 6 credits (2 courses) may be allowed to double-count for both the undergraduate degree and the graduate degree.

Ambassador Spotlights

Jordan Bayrooti

Hello, my name is Jordan Bayrooti, and I am a junior Finance major from Westchester, NY. As a transfer student, this is my second semester at UMass and my first semester as a student ambassador in Isenberg. In addition to my ambassador role in Isenberg, I am an undergraduate teaching assistant and an active participant in the investment banking club and finance society. I was initially drawn to Isenberg because I heard great things about the professors and realized that attending would help me achieve my career goals after graduation. Outside the classroom, I enjoy skiing, going to the gym, reading, and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy traveling, and this past summer, I visited Greece and Albania, which were both beautiful. I am thrilled with my decision to transfer to UMass, and I look forward to a great semester; please feel free to reach out anytime!

Ben Luckner

Hi everyone - my name is Ben Luckner and I am from Summit, New Jersey. I’m a junior sport management major and recently began working in the Isenberg Undergraduate Programs Office as the Ambassador for the Sport Program! My favorite dining hall is Berkshire Dining Commons, especially on Fridays when they serve Dim-Sum. My favorite spot to do work on campus is in the Isenberg Graduate Student Lounge in the Atrium. I chose Isenberg and the McCormack Sport Management department because of the unrivaled access to professors at the top of the sports business field and the diverse resources offered within Isenberg. I’m so grateful I chose Isenberg because, not only do I have access to a unique and diverse community of students, but Isenberg’s emphasis on building professionals who are prepared to lead in the future world of business has helped shape my career goals and personal experiences as an undergraduate.
