Gift Fosters Diversity

A $500,000 gift from the Ernst & Young Foundation will provide scholarship opportunities for students from African-American, Latino, Native American, and Cape Verdean backgrounds during the academic years 2008 through 2013. The remainder will support student programming and services, including tutorial assistance and mandatory seminars devoted to academic success and career transitioning. Dean Butterfield and Undergraduate Dean Barr accept the generous gift in the picture below.
