Academic Advising Interests: I have a passion for international education and enjoy working with Isenberg undergraduate students who are curious about or planning for a study abroad experience-- it really can be possible for all our Isenberg majors!  Start the process with an "Isenberg Study Abroad Basics" workshop, and feel free to make an appointment with me if you'd like to discuss it further. I work closely with and serve as the liaison to the UMass Office of Global Affairs (OGA).

Previous work experience: Before UMass Amherst, I worked in international education for nearly fifteen years. I lived abroad for eight years in Latin America and Europe and have traveled to 19 countries (and counting)! I've served as an advisor and educator in various settings in the USA and abroad, including public and private universities, NGOs, multinational corporations, and rural, indigenous villages in Central and South America.

During my time in international education, I developed, managed, and led study abroad programs and service projects for both domestic and international students, in English and Spanish. I collaborated with host families and local communities, contributed to campus internationalization efforts, trained educators, and provided guidance on study abroad programs.

Interests, hobbies, fave activities: Anything outdoors in nature!  Hiking, running, baking, traveling, and cheering on my children at competitive swim meets.
