What does your resume say about you? Are you an organized individual who has a passion for success? Does your resume say this about you? While it’s a good step to have a resume, you want to make sure that what you portray yourself as on paper is accurate to what you want to be seen as.
Consider these tips to create a successful resume:
- Have detailed, yet concise bullet points. Make sure to use a variety of language and keep these to two lines at most. Different lines can be used to describe different responsibilities in a job.
- Keep it easy to read. Don’t cram all of your lines together if you have room to utilize your white space! This will make the resume look clean and crisp.
- Format cautiously! Use one uniform font throughout, and be sure to check your sizing. All bullet points should be the same size.
- Proofread for spelling, grammar, and punctuation. This is very important! If one has spelling errors in a resume, this gives a negative and careless image to them.
