Vistaprint among 80 Companies at Career Day on Thursday, October 3

Isenberg Career Day on Thursday, October 3 will welcome 1,200 students and 80 companies, including Vistaprint, an e-commerce marketing-solutions firm which designs and produces customized business cards, brochures, signage, web sites, and other products. Career Day, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at UMass Amherst's Campus Center Auditorium, allows students and company recruiters to connect and exchange information with one another. For students, it often leads to interviews with recruiters, and to subsequent internships and employment after graduation.

Recruiter Profile: Diana Frascella--Vistaprint

"Isenberg Career Day is a terrific opportunity for us to build both our brand and pipelines with extremely talented students," observes Vistaprint's Diana Frascella '03, Manager of Global Programs and a former campus recruiter with the global e-commerce marketing solutions firm.  Vistaprint designs and produces customized business cards, brochures, logos, signage, web sites, mailing services, and many other products-over 100 offerings in all.  This year, three executives-all Isenberg graduates-and one recruiter will attend Career Day.

Most of the company's hires and interns from Isenberg are in marketing, but Vistaprint also considers students in accounting and finance, notes Frascella, who was herself an Isenberg accounting major. "For the most part, we look for students who will excel in product development, in online marketing," she emphasizes.

"We value Isenberg students for their great work ethic and for their collaboration skills," adds Frascella. "The Chase Center makes that even better by thoroughly preparing them to interact with us on Career Day and in subsequent interviews. Chase strategizes with us in optimizing our recruiting season at Isenberg. The Chase staff is small but remarkably helpful and professional."
