On April 19, more than 30 student competitors from UMass Amherst and UMass Lowell participated in the Isenberg Sales Club Competition.
With the support of chief sponsors ALKU and Fastenal, along with several Isenberg alumni working in sales who volunteered their time and expertise to consult with students and serve as competition judges, the event provided participants with an insightful and powerful presentation on “real life” sales. Isenberg alumnus Ryan Nikitas spoke about successfully navigating change.
The Sales Club Competition gave students the opportunity to demonstrate and practice new sales skills, as well as network within the industry. The final four contestants were evenly split between UMass Amherst and UMass Lowell, with Isenberg’s own Camryn Buonacore '24 winning the Sales Competition.
The Isenberg Sales Club aims to enhance students’ understanding of sales as a career path, provide them with the tools to establish a fundamental sales skill set, and support their professional growth, while also broadening their career prospects through networking and competitive events, such as the one mentioned above. Students of all sales abilities are encouraged to join; the club fosters an environment that is conducive to personal and professional development.
