The Black Business Student Association at ISOM

The Black Business Student’s Association provides an empowering environment for students of African heritage who aspire to excel in prestigious careers within various areas of business. Our goal is to foster a competitive environment where students are consistently challenged and encouraged to grow, ensuring they are exceptionally prepared for entry-level roles within their chosen domain of business or for furthering their education.  We aim to achieve this by helping our members to realize earlier on what their goals are, to get them involved throughout their tenure at UMass, facilitating connections with alumni and industry professionals alike, teaching industry-specific skills, and providing opportunities for members to showcase their skills in front of potential employers.  Long term we want to become a bridge for those from historically marginalized communities into wealth and prosperity and encourage members from those same communities to pursue careers in business.  Meetings are held throughout the semester every Sunday.
