The Pathways in Education (formerly known as Partners in Education) Residential Academic Program (RAP) at Isenberg promotes access and inclusion for students entering the business profession. The initiative includes a first-year academic program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for students from underrepresented or first-generation populations interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Along with the year-long college coursework, this program features field trips and special events that cover additional educational topics and incorporate hands-on experiences, including event appearances, shadowing, and internship experiences with inspiring professionals in academic and business fields at Isenberg.

Cohort Experience

" "
I learned what it's like to have a community around me that's focused on the same goals, but most importantly I got to meet people that come from different backgrounds and learn their life stories. I recommend future students join a residential program because it gives you the chance to meet people you most likely would never meet, and it also provides you with a guaranteed housing location. You will also have people in your corner to walk to class, study, talk, and hang out with.

Honestly I got so much out of this program! I was able to seize more opportunities because I was pushed to engage. I wouldn’t have attended the Isenberg Career Fair if not for this class and it was an amazing learning opportunity.
