INFORMS Student Chapter Speaker Series with Dr. Karagiannis

The UMass Amherst Student Chapter of INFORMS and its Faculty Advisor, Professor Anna Nagurney, are pleased to announce the campus visit of Dr. George M. Karagiannis (Senior Research Associate, Technical University of Crete). Dr. Karagiannis will be speaking to us as part of the UMass INFORMS Student Chapter Speaker Series (Title:Coordination by Design, or the Common Operational Picture: From Risk Assessment to Disaster Response). A Q&A Session will follow the talk. 

Dr. Karagiannis, in addition to a PhD, has 3 Master's degrees, including an MBA. His most recent project entails the development of a National Risk Assessment for the country of Malta.
