Innovation Challenge Semi-Final Application Deadline

Do you have an idea or product? Looking for the basics, exposure, and mentors? The UMass Innovation Challenge competitive events are designed to help and reward UMass students and young alumni who want to pursue a novel business idea and develop it into a marketable product.

The Semi-Final is a closed door session during which teams will have 15 minutes to pitch in front of a panel of judges. Use this time to explain your startup, who is involved, and what is next for your team. Why do you need funding and how will you use it? Judges will then decide if the idea is feasible, and whether or not your team is eligible to move on to the Final round on April 7th, where up to $50K will be awarded to teams.

The deadline to apply for the Semi-Final is on February 5th. This event is independent of the first two Innovation Challenge events, meaning anyone can apply.

Announcement of teams: February 8.  At this time you will be informed of the order of pitches and what time you should be there.
