Innovation Challenge Seed Pitch

Do you need funding to progress your venture idea to the next stage of development? The UMass Innovation Challenge Seed Pitch Competition is awarding equity-free funding to the most promising ventures on campus. Last year 7 different ventures were awarded a total of $10,500 in seed funding.

In this closed door session, teams will have 5 minutes to pitch in front of a panel of judges. Use this time to explain your startup, who is involved, and what it next for your team. Why do you need funding and how will you use it? Judges will then get 10-15 min of Q&A time with each team after which they will decide if the idea is feasible, and may then decide to give seed funding to the team. All teams are eligible for some level of funding.
